From the very beginning, over 100 years ago, tennis has been an important part of life at Roanoke Country Club. The founding members played on two courts just off Franklin Road. Today, members enjoy the finest and most complete tennis facilities in Western Virginia.

The RCC Fred Rawlings Tennis Center consists of five indoor HAR-TRU (clay) surface courts with a raised and terraced viewing area. Outside there are six more lighted HAR-TRU courts with stadium viewing, and twohard surface courts. The Tennis Center also provides lounge and locker facilities.

An experienced and highly acclaimed USTA/PTR professional staff provides lessons and clinics, and oversees a year-round calendar of tournaments and events for all groups and ages.

The Club's full-service tennis shop offers a complete inventory along with professional advice on selecting the equipment best suited to your game.
